Tug of War

All dogs have that one toy that you cant grab from their mouth and this is what can be called Tug Of War. Every dog wants you to through their favorite stuffed animal but they also want you to play with them before you take it. In the book Marley and Me, by John Grogan, describes how Marley was ripping the arms out of their sockets with every jolt at the rope. (182) Games with dogs can either be super fun or end up in the hospital.

Cassie has a favorite toy what used to be a butt of a zebra butt now looks like it went through the shredder about a thousand times. It also smells like it came from a sewer pipe and was soaked in garbage juice. This may sound discussing but this is the way my dog enjoys her toys; its how she knows their hers. The second you grab that toy your in for a bruised arm and a sore hand.

If you have a dog what's their favorite toy? And why do they like it so much?

  1. My dog's favorite toy is a stuffed pig, that was made to last, but has been ripped quite a few times (and replaced). I think she likes it so much because it is a larger toy so she is able to catch it, but also chew and play with it.

    1. Wow your dog sounds like she loves that toy a lot. Hopefully her toy can last if she loves it so much and careful not to rip it up too much
