Hard Work Pays Off

Pele was considered the best player of all time by almost everyone who has heard of soccer. He wasn't very wealthy at all and showed that you don't need much money to practice what you love and you can make due with what you have. Pele was very close to his dad who also played soccer and taught him everything he knew. He promised his dad at a young age, "It’s ok, dad,” I told him. “One day, I promise, I’ll win the World Cup for you.” (Pele 76) This was a very bold thing to say because in our day and age a lot of people can't or don't keep their promises.

Many years later after putting in hard work he won 3 world cups.

I think this can relate to anyone's daily life in whether they make a promise to their coach, parents, teacher, or themselves that if you put your mind to it and put in the necessary work and determination you can accomplish it. Pele is just one example of how you can accomplish your dreams. It's all a mindset and if you put your mind to it you can do it.

Do you guys think anything can be accomplished or do you think there are limits?
