How to do a Soccer move- The Scissor

Hello everyone welcome back.
The next move i will be showing you is how to do a Scissor. In my opinion this is one of the easiest moves out there. Also as you start your career in soccer this will be one of the first major moves you will learn along with the pull back which will be in my next post. So I will show you step by step on how to perfect this fun simple move.

STEPS-
Step 1)  Start by dribbling and having the ball slightly in front of you.
Step 2) Bend your knees and lower your butt and crouch down to an Athletic stance.
Step 3) bring your right foot around the ball (if that is your dominant foot).  In a clockwise motion
Step 4)  As you are landing, with your left foot you will push down on the ground placing most of your weight on your right foot.
Step 5) Use your left foot to push the ball with the outside of your foot.

SOME TIPS-
When I am in a game type situation this is my go to move. it is so simple but extremely effective when playing 1 v 1 with another defender.
When doing this move you want to "Go with the flow" the move needs to be fluid and it should be done with ease.
Finally, when first attempting the move, stay in a stationary position and move your feet around the ball multiple times.

My question is, What move have you perfected in your life?

How to do a Soccer move - the Rainbow

Soccer has been around for a couple thousands of years, one of the most popular moves is the Rainbow. From the website OSA also know as Online Soccer Academy, published by Jeremy Moss who is also the co founder said, "The soccer rainbow is a classic soccer trick to do when showing off for your friends and to excite the fans and also escape from the defender". As a soccer player, you always need to have a move ready. The Rainbow is a unique move where you are able to escape the defender with ease if the move is properly executed.

To properly execute the Rainbow, there are cretin steps you need to follow to have the best outcome.
Step 1)  Use your dominant foot to roll up the ball up your non dominant leg.
  •  for example,  if you were right footed, your right foot would roll the ball up for left leg and same process would apply if you were left footed.
Step 2) Follow through with your foot, you want to in a way flick it up.
Step 3) You want to land on your dominant foot as you kick the ball with your heel.
Step 4) The ball should have landed in front of you if done properly.
(this information was found on, the OSA website) (Moss).

SOME TIPS
Just some simple tips are to always start with the ball under your feet, that is the easiest way to start off the movement of the rainbow. If you were in a game situation approaching a defender you would want to quickly dribble at the defender to have them step back, while you try to attempt them move.

MORE TIPS
According to Daniel Leon, who was a professional soccer player he stated that " Guide the ball with your leg". When i was attempting the move I also felt that was a huge help, you need to take control of the ball, your foot needs to be in control so it will be easy to preform.

The Rainbow was a hard move to execute, what in your life has been hard for you to execute?
