Art Techniques: Trees In Watercolor

I had previously done a blog on Trees In Pencil and water color, so I thought I would take the idea of art with trees and watercolor to the next level and try Trees In Watercolor. So when I came across the article on Trees In Watercolor, I thought it was perfect.

I started with my basic watercolors, specifically my brown and green watercolors. I end to overthink things while I am painting, but I read, "when you paint trees do it very simply---don't overwork them" (Crawshaw 59). I never really taught there was an easy way to do watercolor. I always taught the process had to be precises and very technical, but I took this into consideration while painting

What is a misunderstanding that you have about art?
