Twitter Hashtags
Twitter generally is a user based and advertising based social media platform. It is used to connect with friends, companies and advertise many different products. Even though hashtags are a global term and are used on many platforms, including instagram, Facebook, and Pintrest they are most successful on twitter where hashtags are central concept of Twitter.
Hashtags are are usually meant to search for topics of interests, connect with your audiences, and to help people find your posts more easily (Williams 39) How I use hashtags is to generally to connect with my audience from my organization twitter @Haven_eSports.
The Hashtag #HavenNation is one that I generally use to connect to my eSports audience that will gain attention more and trend towards something bigger that people can use to grab my attention. Hashtags are also generally used to target an audience for a specific event.
Question : Why do you use hashtags? Also what hashtags do you guys generally use often and some you rarely use?
I know many people who successfully use hashtags in order to organize content, especially surrounding online yoga challenges and to help them to successfully build a following. I use hashtags rarely that help to gather photos from events with friends.
ReplyDeleteHashtags are a very good way to market a certain ideal you are trying to get across to your audience. They are very good for starting trends and organizing some type of tweet with your followers.
