This is a commonly used technique, try working/thinking backwards. For instance imagine yourself finished with your work at first, then they act out the whole process in reverse, feeling and visualizing each step all the way to the beginning. A quicker and more relevant way to apply this would be to imagine yourself doing a small part of you have applied yourself to. Another great tip is to control your internal distractions. Internal distractions are one of those problems you can’t really run away from. You need to find ways to prepare your mind for work and to not distract yourself with your thoughts.
