Indoor lighting (Decent quality)

As a photographer, its very difficult to get the perfect lighting. especially when it comes to taking pictures indoors, because you can never get the right lighting without setting up your own personal indoor studio for a high quality photo. “Even when working indoors on location shoots, you cannot always predict the conditions you’ll find. You may have to work with what is there” (Hurter 78).  

Here is an example of an indoor photo that I took using my sisters camera. This is a nice photo that i took, but as you can see, the photo itself is not very high quality for lighting. The room was very dim, and it was highly difficult to try and take pictures, but i had to cope with what i had to work with, that's why when it comes to taking indoor photos, you need to be prepared with proper lighting for whatever your capturing. From the camera, there is a small amount of light that surrounds the subject in the photo to the left. While the rest of the photo of around her is darker. For this to be a higher quality photo, i would've had to light up the area around the subject. This photo is decent though considering the subject herself is well lighted. You can tell, because you can see the small designs in her dress, and the small details on the rest of her body.
