How to Make: Pteroplane

Pteroplane

This plane is a stunt type plane that is able to corkscrews and flips and even circles. it is a fairly simple build for impressive results, on the Throw Chart it demonstrates that if you throw it at an up anglem\ it will either do a flip or circle around, in the description "you can get it to loop, circle even corkscrew before setting into a long, cool glide" this is an unusual type of plane because it has the ability to glide but also has the ability to do cool tricks. this plane is meant for outdoor flight because it will need all the space it can take when flying this action packed plane, and this is how you fold it.

Step 1: fold paper in half hot dog style in order to make vertical creases

Step 2: fold the top corner to align with the vertical crease and make a triangle at the top

Step 3: fold the top triangle down so that the top point aligns with the vertical crease

Step 4: fold the bottom of the paper as far up as it can go without passing the tip of the triangle that was previously folded

Step 5: fold the bottom crease that you just make, and fold it to the other side because you're going to want to tear it off

Step 6: tear the bottom part off from the paper

Step 7: fold the bottom triangle to the top of the paper

Step 8: take the to corner and fold it towards the crease in the middle of the paper

Step 9: take the other corner and fold it towards the other side of the crease in the middle of the paper

Step 10: fold the bottom part towards the top of the paper

Step 11: unfold the fold that you recently made

Step 12: fold the top of the paper down to the crease that you just made

Step 13: fold the plane in half and grab the piece of paper that you tore off earlier

Step 14: place the torn off piece of paper and hold it vertically

Step 15: fold the piece of paper hot dog style

Step 16: tear off one side of the paper so its just half left

Step 17: take the piece of paper and attach it to the bottom and inside the main vessel, it should make it look like the plane is a bird and it has a tail

Final Product

due to multiple trials I was able to determine that if you throw it harder or if you add more power, you will find that it is more our of control but it does more tricks, this is backed up from in the description "with a rocket-fuel throw, you can get it to loop, circle even corkscrew before settling into a long, cool glide" when I read the description, I saw 'rocket-fuel throw' when I saw that I thought it meant a throw that had  more power, and from my repeated trials I have determined that it was indeed true.
