Be Silly

Another way to be happy is to be silly, and have a lighter heart. "A happy atmosphere isn't created merely by the absence of nagging and yelling but also by jokes, games, and tomfoolery." pg 126. If people are always worrying then there is no room in your life to try and be silly. Being silly will get your mind off of things and make you less stressed out. You can also try laughing at yourself once in a while, it lightens the mood. You just sometimes have to loosen up and dance just for the heck of it. sing in the shower, make funny faces in front of the mirror.

 

When I'm silly I'm usually around my friends and just kicking it back, and relaxing. I also know that's one of the biggest reasons I'm happy. Sometimes people over think and maybe that's the reason they can't get things done. Every once in a while you have to take a break from work and school. Proven benefits like being silly leads to laughing and "laughing triggers the release of endorphin's- the body's natural "feel good"  hormones." The many benefits of being silly. That's why there's a million reasons to be silly, if your feeling down just do something that makes you happy.
